Night of a Thousand Wizards!
Details, ticket info & more!

Universal Orlando® has released about 200 additional tickets to Night of a Thousand Wizards, so we have about 250 left for sale. We are closing ticket sales on June 23, unless we sell out before then, and no tickets to NoaTW will be sold on-site, so purchase your tickets now at Learn more about Night of a Thousand Wizards at

Speaking of Sell-Outs… We have only a few Full registrations still available, as well about 100 Merlin’s Circle registrations and under 20 add-on tickets to the Welcome and Leaving Feasts, so if you want to attend the Infinitus Feasts, we highly recommend registering (or upgrading) as soon as possible. No Full or Merlin’s Circle registrations or Feast tickets will be sold on-site.

Check Your Badge & Agenda

Have you made sure to add all your extras to your Infinitus registration? Luncheon tickets, tickets to the C&C Dessert Factory with Christian Coulson and Chris Rankin, reserved tables at Night of a Thousand Wizards and sponsorships of Programming Sessions all can be added to your registration until June 23. We have custom-designed t-shirts to celebrate and remember Infinitus 2010, but if you do not purchase your shirt in advance, please note that they will be priced at $20 to $22 on-site, but they are only $15 if you pre-order.

Congratulations to our t-shirt contest winner!

Dustin Harrel submitted the winning design for our Infinitus t-shirt. His tagline – “Imagining the infinite possibilities never seemed so… possible.” was an excellent play on our theme. His design concept has been perfected by our graphic artist (thank you Stephanie!). We are sure you will love the Infinitus t-shirts!

Friday Luncheon: FTW!

Friday’s lunch “FTW: Fandom-Trained Writers” will feature fanfic writers turned pro: Naomi Novik, Karen Healey, R.J. Anderson, Ali Wilgus, and Sarah Rees Brennan. At the lunchtime panel,  moderated by novelist Peg Kerr, they will discuss making the transition between fanfic writer and published novelist, their writing processes and their feeling about fanfic for their original stories. Tickets to the Friday luncheon are $75, and it begins at noon. Click here for more information, or click here to add the luncheon to your Agenda.

Saturday Luncheon: Electronic Arts Presents

Enjoy a magical meal at noon, with a keynote address from, Kelvin Tuite, the Franchise Creative Director for Electronic Arts’ Bright Light Studios, one one of the creative minds behind Electronic Art’s exciting Harry Potter video games.

More Featured Speakers

We are thrilled to announce that among the speakers at Infinitus will be John Granger, Travis Prinzi, Eddie Newquist, Catherine Tosenberger and Connie Neal.

Question: I really want to see StarKid Potter, the Harvey Putter parody film and The Final Battle! When will they be, and can I get in? In chronological order, here’s when the shows will be:

  • The Final Battle, a new musical by Lena Gabrielle with Mallory Vance, starring a cast of talented fandomers, will begin at 6:00 PM on Friday, July 16 in the main ballroom at the Royal Pacific.
  • Harvey Putter & the Ridiculous Premise will have its premiere as part of the Florida Fan Film Festival at 7:00 PM on Friday, July 16 in the Banda Sea rooms at the Royal Pacific.
  • A Very Potter Musical Sequel Premiere Event with Team StarKid takes place in the main ballroom at the Royal Pacific on Saturday, July 17 at 4:00 PM.

The Main Ballroom holds about a thousand people, so we hope and expect that everyone who wants to see the shows will get in. We are not selling separate tickets to the shows – or the Wizard Rock concerts on Thursday and Saturday – so everyone with a Merlin’s Circle, Full or Two-Day ticket, as well as that day’s single-day ticket, can be admitted, up to room capacity. But if you want to ensure that you’ll have a good seat, there will be reserved seats for Merlin’s Circle registrants at all three of these events; a Merlin’s Circle registration is $400, and includes everything that comes with a Full registration, plus breakfasts on Friday and Saturday, both Keynote Luncheons, and a reception on Thursday evening with some of our special guests. You can upgrade from any type of registration to a Merlin’s Circle registration by modifying your registration; contact if you have any questions.

Hotel Update:

Our room block at the Royal Pacific is already sold out, but rooms are still available at the Portofino Bay Resort ($210+tax/night) and Hard Rock Hotel ($255+tax/night); suites are available at a 25% discount over the standard rate. The hotels will be running shuttle buses between the Royal Pacific and each of the other hotels all day, and until 2:00 on Sunday morning, after the Night of Frivolity Ball, so you can enjoy yourself without wondering how you’re going to get back to your hotel room afterwards. Also, if you park a car at either the Portofino Bay or Hard Rock, you’ll be able to self-park for free at the Royal Pacific from Wednesday through Sunday when you’re Infinitusing. And don’t forget, with paid theme park admission, on-site hotel guests get Early Park Admission to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, one hour before the park opens. Our room block will only be held until June 16, so make your reservations now, as the rates will go up on June 17. You can reach group reservations by calling 866-360-7395.

Airport Shuttle Information

One of the easiest ways to get from the airport to your hotel is with Mears Shuttle Buses. MEARS has provided Infinitus attendees with a coupon that you can use at Mears Transportation counters throughout the airport.  MEARS shuttles run 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, departing the curb approximately every 30 minutes. Please review the coupon at least a few days before you travel so you are aware of the MEARS transportation process, and so you can make a reservation online or byphone. The Infinitus priority code number is 383984504. MEARS services are available between Orlando International Airport and most Orlando hotels, including the Royal Pacific, Portofino and Hard Rock hotels, as well as many off-site hotels.
