Night of a Thousand Wizards Update

July 9, 2010

We’ve had a lot of questions about NoaTW, so here’s a few updates:

1. Night of a Thousand Wizards is completely sold out. We have nearly 100 people on the waiting list, and we are not adding any additional names as we do not expect that many tickets to become available, if any do.

Universal has told us that they will not make any decisions about releasing additional tickets until July 13 or 14. If they do release additional tickets, we will contact those currently on the waiting list, and they will be able to pay for the ticket on-site at the Registration Desk. If you on on the waiting list but will not be checking your email after July 13, please email us at with your name, your
confirmation number and a phone number, and you must pay for and pick up your ticket by 5 p.m. on Friday, July 16.
2. All Infinitus registrants can wear costumes on July 16 to Islands of Adventure ® and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter® as long as they follow Universal’s July16 costume policy and wear their Infinitus badge visibly.

3. We will have additional tickets to both Universal Orlando Resorts Theme Parks available at the Registration Desk on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday; we will have after-two, single-day, two-day and four-day tickets available. The prices are as follows:

  • After-two, one park: $47
  • After-two, two parks: $62
  • Single-day, single-park: $66
  • Single-day, two park: $94
  • Two days, two parks:$112
  • Four days, two parks: $122

The two- and four-day tickets also include seven days of admission to the clubs at CityWalk®, starting from the first day the ticket is used to gain admission to either of the Universal Orlando Resorts Theme Parks. We will accept cash, credit cards and debit cards at the Registration Desk.

I hope they don’t release more tickets for NaoTW. No offense to the people on the waiting list and stuff, but I think enough have been released already.

I hope they do! I wanna go 😦 I’m paying a LOT of money to go to orlando from Canada. It would make it all worth it to be able to go to NOATW!

I don’t think an extra 100 people (if even that many) would make much of a difference. The lines are bound to be better than they are during the day. I will be braving the normal crowds because I could not get a ticket. Good luck to anyone on the waiting list!

I agree…no offense but I want to be able to ENJOY the park without the crazy lines

I was wondering, if we buy multi day, multi park tickets on site from the convention do we get the commemorative ticket that people get when they buy the tickets from universal?

That seems really unfair. At the beginning of the convention planning, it sounded like all Infinitus attendees would be able to attend the special event, and now I’m sure many people’s spirits are crushed that they can’t be with the other attendees at NoaTW. What is the capacity of the park, anyway? I doubt the lines would be affected much by releasing another 150 tickets. The park is 20 acres, for crying out loud, and there’s way more than just the rides.

I COMPLETELY AGREE, And have done so since the beginning! All of us were under the impression that *everyone* would be able to attend after paying so much for the con already… Alas.

Is this the same wait list as the one for those trying to register or another?

I am coming from Indiana, and couldn’t get tickets to NoaTW, I am crushed. I think people who have tickets and don’t want more to come are just selfish. We all love Harry Potter! Let us come too! 😥 but have fun!
