Will this only be available for full registrations, or will a day pass suffice?

Oh man! I am sooo excited! I had a question though. Does the Infinitus registration not cover the cost of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter park ticket? Or does it? I’m a bit confused on that!

Anyway, I am stoked to hear more about this event, as I just registered! 😀

I believe there will be a separate ticket for this event – just like for the keynote luncheons – but I’m not sure yet or what the price will be. We’ll send out information to everyone registered as soon as we get the official word.

this is my dream trip, i’ll do anything to be at the opening, or to be there when the trio show up… or both… god i’d give my left arm haha 😉

    • February 18, 2010 3:48 am

      Which Trio?

You seriously have to ask? xD Harry, Ron, Hermione (Dan, Rupert, Emma).

  6. February 20, 2010 6:45 am

Yes, I do have to ask …
Nothing is posted about anyone of the majors from the cast attending the Convention …

In any case … I’m thoroughly stoked to hear this news … ‘If it is true’ …
Will HPEF be making an official anouncement, do you think?

That revelation would just put the icing, candles and a cherry on this already magnificent cake …

    Hoooray!

I was just wondering if I’ll be okay for having a 1 day ticket for friday since the park tickets sounds like a seperate priced event anyway. And I can’t wait to see how much it will be. hope it’s not crazy expensive. And if it would be a differnt price if i did get a pass before. Hope details are posted soon. Can’t wait! 🙂

    • March 20, 2010 10:25 pm

Yes… it’s okay to have a one day registration and then purchase the separate park ticket. We’re hoping to have more details soon too!

I am considering buying a 4 day pass for all the days I am at Universal and the Con. Will this factor into the after hours? For example, I am assuming Universal will want people to have a ticket to go in. If I have the pass I should not have to pay for the ticket, just any additional price they require for the con attendees, n’est pas?
        Thanks for the response.

Sorry but the Infinitus 2010 park event is a closed event. A regular park pass will not get you into it. You will still need to get a separate ticket for this event. We will be selling Park Event tix to ppl with single-day registrations as well as full-event registrations

How soon do you think the event tickets will be available? I am super stoked for this and I want to make sure we have a chance to do it!!

I was planning on buying a 1-day ticket for Saturday, would I still be able to go to the park on Friday? It says it is open for Infinitus attendees, but does it matter which day you attend?

I’m thinking of attending with my kids, who are under the minimum age for registration. They’re big HP fans. Will I be able to buy tickets to the Friday night WWoHP event for them as well?

Kids who are registered for the kids track will be able to attend if accompanied by their parent and/or legal guardian. However, we haven’t yet worked out the kids-to-nonParental-chaperone ratio yet, but in cases where kids are accompanied by someone who is not his or her parent, the chaperone will have to be over 21 (although that won’t be an issue for you). The price for kids’ tickets will probably be the same as adults, though.

If we do eventually sell tickets to nonregistrants, parents will be able to purchase a ticket for a child to accompany them, but it is unclear as of yet as to whether we’ll be able to sell tickets to nonregistrants, as we are capped at 1500 tickets.

Personally, I am bringing my nearly-11-year-old for the Park event, but not my 5 year old; I am on the fence re my seven year old.

If we buy a multiple-day ticket to the theme park, will that ticket be good for admission to the convention’s special after-hours event if we are already registered for the conference as well?

    • April 15, 2010 7:48 pm

I’m sorry but the Infinitus special park event is a closed event and you will not be able to use a regular park multi-day pass to enter. Special Event ticket information for Infinitus attendees will be posted soon.

It’s ridiculous that may of us are buying a multi-day park ticket, registration and now have to purchase an addition ticket to get into the WWOHP night event. Can’t the people with these passes get some kind of discount?

Did you buy your multiday ticket yet? If not, then we recommend waiting a few days until we can get our ticket sales live. We’ve been waiting for a while for Universal to okay it for us to sell multiday and single-day tickets at a discount – bundled with the Exclusive Park Event, in fact, and they finally okayed it today. Tickets should be going on sale shortly – and we think people will be okay with the prices.

yea that would be lame if they weren’t. i hope they have a special night staff or something for us to keep everything running. I might just try to go on the main ride after 2pm to make sure i dont miss out if things are closed during notw.

I was just wondering since i’m just driving up Friday for the convention for a bit then going to the park later where will parking be for one day convention guests who arent staying on a onsite hotel or any hotel. Is the themepark parking lot fine, especially if you’re going to NOTW? Just worried because I know we all will be out there late. Thanks.

You can park at either the Royal Pacific hotel (I think it’s 18 dollars?) or the CityWalk parking log ($15). CityWalk is open until 2am for the general public anyway, so they are used to people coming back for their cars superlate.

thanks! I wasn’t sure how long notw would be. I know the regular park closes at 10pm i saw on their website for that day.

Any update on the costume situation or details on what exactly will be special about Night of 1000 Wizards? It sounds like fun, and I’d love to go, but before I drop $150 to do so, I’m curious how it will differ from a regular day at the park. I’m going on Monday to get into “soft opening”, and I’ll be there on June 18th as well — anything in particular that would make this event stand out? Besides being a limited # of people and at night :-). Also, as an Annual Pass holder to Universal, any way the ticket would be cheaper? (Assuming you’re not sold out yet).

    • June 3, 2010 5:23 pm

      Garrett,
Information on this will be out very soon. We’re just waiting on the final okay to publish. It should be a fun event.
Unfortunately we were not able to get an additional discount for annual ticket holders for the evening event since it’s a after-hours event that is closed to regular annual pass members.
